Why do you want to serve as a Director of CPA?
I believe I can make an unmatched impact on expanding and strengthening the CPA’s membership and influence. With With over 40 years of experience—and more than two decades as CEO of Blaige & Company and Blaige Industry Analytics, the first international advisory firms dedicated exclusively to the contract manufacturing and packaging supply chain—I bring deep industry knowledge, global reach, and a long record of service to the Association.
Over this time, I have built a proprietary global network of 5,000+ C-level executives across packaging, processing, and converting sectors that can be directly leveraged to grow CPA membership and engagement. My sustained commitment is reflected in:
• Nearly 20 years of participation and sponsorship at CPA Annual Meetings
• Pro-bono research featured in the last two State of the Industry (SOI) reports
• Multiple newsletter contributions and educational presentations
• Four years as an Affinity Partner / in-house M&A advisor
• Dozens of complimentary consultations for member companies
I also serve on the Nominating Committee of the Plastics Hall of Fame, where I helped organize the 2025 Gala in Düsseldorf—including sponsorship, award presentation, and creation of a 100-page commemorative program—and doubled their communications reach by donating 1,000 unique industry contacts.
In addition, I’m an active member of the Flexible Packaging Association (FPA), Western Plastics Association (WPA), and Plastics Pioneers Association (PPA)—where I was recently inducted in recognition of decades of contribution. As a shareholder of Devansoy Pure Plant Protein, I also understand firsthand the importance of contract manufacturing and packaging to brand and product success.
The CPA represents a fragmented yet fast-growing sector entering a new phase of consolidation. My research covering 25 years of consolidation across multiple packaging and processing segments shows that over 80% of top companies eventually merge or sell. Many CPA members—particularly independent and family-owned firms—will face critical decisions in the next decade. My goal is to help them survive, thrive, and sustain strong independent ownership through education, strategy, and collaboration.
A Board position would expand my ability to help all members anticipate change, attract investment, and strengthen the CPA community as a whole. For perspective on my commitment, please feel free to speak with Dustin or Scott Vincent, both of whom can attest to my consistent support of members.

For more than 15 years, I have actively supported the CPA through research, education, and advisory work focused on helping members strengthen their businesses and plan for long-term success. My work is guided by a belief in partnership, transparency, and data-driven strategy—all core values that align with the CPA’s mission.
Over the course of my career, I have been widely recognized as an industry pioneer in packaging and processing M&A. I organized the first Plastics M&A Forum in 1999, led early discussions on private equity’s role in the sector, and have since completed over 200 transactions while visiting more than 600 operations worldwide.
These long-term experiences, combined with my authorship of over 100 articles and presentations at more than 300 global industry events—including AWA, Label Expo, Interpack, AMI, K Show, Korea Pack, and Chinaplas—position me as a unique addition to an already strong and capable CPA Board.
My leadership perspective is both broad and practical—focused on helping members build value, navigate change, and seize opportunity. I bring not only experience, but also energy, creativity, and a genuine commitment to the success of every CPA member.
