CPA Member AMERIPEN Update

CPA Board Member, John Bialecki, has summarized the most recent information from AMERIPEN that might be of interest to CPA Members.
This month’s highlights include:
• The EU’s new packaging regulation takes effect on August 12, 2026.
• Washington state lawmakers are debating a bill to make packaging producers pay for recycling, promoting sustainability and relieving taxpayers of recycling costs.
• Lee Zeldin appointed as the Administrator of the US EPA.
